Big Bet

Big Bet follows Cha Mu-sik, whose rise in the Philippine casino world is disrupted when he is accused of a murder he did not commit. Oh Seung-hoon, a police officer sent to investigate international crimes in the Philippines, pursues the murder case and Mu-sik. Yang Jeong-pal works alongside Mu-sik. The series develops the tension between a threatened position, a criminal investigation and the choices Mu-sik makes under pressure, rather than treating the stakes as a single gambling win or loss. Choi Min-sik, Son Suk-ku and Lee Dong-hwi play these three central figures. The first season premiered in December 2022 and a second followed in February 2023.
